The “Powerfully Pink” series of activations and pop-ups create perfect spots to show your support for the community during the holiday season.
Kicking off on December 15, 2023, “Powerfully Pink” will include Friday evening happy hours and Saturday/Sunday afternoon family-focused activities to make the season bright.

Across a series of Powerfully Pink activations, the lobby of the Hotel Lucia will be transformed into a Pink picturesque holiday backdrop, with events and opportunities including, but not limited to:
- Photo opportunities and Social Media ready art installations
- Drag Queen cocktail hours, performances and story times
- Holiday-themed beverages, including cocktails and warm non-alcoholic drinks
- Music performances and sing-alongs
- Independent retailer pop-ups and gift-wrapping
- Raffle opportunities, including vintage dolls and hotel stays
Each day will provide new opportunities to enjoy the season, all for a great cause. The “Powerfully Pink” space will serve as both a fundraising center and a drop off site for the Community Impact Drive. This Pride Northwest initiative raises money for emergency needs experienced by community members, as well as collecting items which are distributed with the help of community nonprofit partners. This year’s partners include: Rose Haven, The People's Pantry, p:ear, Hygiene4All and Portland Backpack. Funds raised through the raffle of vintage dolls and toys will also benefit Toys and Joy Makers, a local toy drive founded by the Portland Fire & Rescue in 1914, helping out local families in need during the holiday season.
