One of Portland’s most acclaimed chefs, Vitaly Paley, has a brand new restaurant right here at Hotel Lucia. At Imperial, Chef Paley and Executive Chef Benjamin Bettinger explore heritage cooking methods using ingredients from Portland’s diverse bounty and a custom-made wood-fired grill. Inspired by campfires and the big open spaces of the Pacific Northwest, Imperial is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner daily and serves healthy, uncomplicated fare in a warm, welcoming environment.

Chef Paley’s second restaurant at Hotel Lucia is named after the coin that Frances Pettygrove and Asa Lovejoy flipped to decide Portland’s name in 1845 and explores the diverse immigrant food cultures in the Pacific Northwest in a counter service diner featuring relaxed seating and grab and go options. House made breakfast pastries, hand-crafted sandwiches, soups, salads and sides and an indulgent late night menu tempt tastebuds and pair perfectly with phosphates, milkshakes, cocktails, wine and beer on tap.
